Additional Comments
To run the game I had to use winetricks d3dx9_36 and then extract the d3dx11_43 from redist DirectX catalouge of Dragon Age II Demo (you can find it in Jun2010_d3dx11_43_x86.cab cabextract is needed to extract that). When the d3dx11_43.dll is placed in system32 directory you have to add it to wine configuration. The latest winetricks-alpha wasn't able to handle d3dx11_43 installation. In fact it complained about unrecognized argument. I've tried it from kegel.com/wine and http://winetricks.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/winetricks-alpha so I'm pretty sure it was the latest version. Then I had to edit DragonAge.ini and set my screen resolution 1920x1080 (without that I couldn't run game). In the same file I had to edit: [AudioOptions] SoundDisabled=from 1 to 0 and UseStereoSound=from 0 to 1 that's how I got a working sound. Then you have to run demo using DragonAge2Demo.exe (it's in bin_ship folder) directly because the Launcher doesn't work. I've didn't had any problems compliting demo. Also in my case mouse didn't escape window or make any other problems. The game runs very smooth on my config: -CPU:AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ @ 2,3GHZ -VGA:nVidia 9600 GT OC 512MB -RAM:GeIL Ultra DDRII 2GB/800 (2 x 1GB) -NVIDIA Driver Version 270.18 -Linux Kernel 2.6.35-24ck medium graphic details 1920x1080. I've tried making screenshots of this but Shutter outputed them with various graphical glitches (those didn't occured in actual gameplay).
