To run at widescreen resolutions that aren't officially suppoorted, DISABLE the widescreen mode in the game settings and edit the file 'Croteam/Serious Sam/Scripts/PersistantSymbols.ini'.

Change these two lines to your resolution.

Z-Depth problem

Hi there,

for those who have problems with non-existant Z-buffer. The Serious Sam engine doesn't seem to specify that it really needs a Z-buffer and hopes for the standard Z-buffer depth of 16 bits. This is not quite correct behaviour and doesn't work with wine-0.9.57 and upwards.

Use the loki installers to install the game. That way you don't have to use wine for this game.
