What works
The program installs, updates, and runs correctly, although the most recent updates apparently require the dongle to be recognized. Updated correctly through version 4.0.P
Graphics seem quite good, but since I am unable to do actual testing and motion, that may be a bad assumption.
I use the ATI proprietary driver version 13-6-beta
What does not
USB dongle is not detected by SIM, although dmesg shows:
[ 4064.152188] usb 2-2.1.7: new low-speed USB device number 10 using ehci-pci
[ 4064.250418] usb 2-2.1.7: New USB device found, idVendor=1781, idProduct=0898
[ 4064.250430] usb 2-2.1.7: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[ 4064.250437] usb 2-2.1.7: Product: PxRC PhoenixRC USB Interface
[ 4064.250442] usb 2-2.1.7: Manufacturer: Runtime
[ 4064.254671] hid-generic 0003:1781:0898.000F: hiddev0,hidraw4: USB HID v1.00 Device [Runtime PxRC PhoenixRC USB Interface] on usb-0000:00:02.1-2.1.7/input0
User manual is not correctly loaded when opened from software, although pdf files are there. Acrobat fails to show pages. Perhaps acrobat does not work correctly under wine.
Workarounds
What was not tested
Unable to view aircraft and unable to test SIM since dongle is not detected by software.

Additional Comments
Apparently the only remaining problem is getting the software to recognize the Phoenix USB dongle. Everything seems to work, otherwise. My wine version is 1.5.903 via snapshot from a recommended OpenSuSE repository.

Output in both files are very usefull for me (system data from OS, nothing personelly) as I am very near to working HID implementation in wine, I cant do it while I dont have this interface. Thanks

Am I correct in assuming that since you don't ask for the simulator to be started that this info will not be contained? Also does the fact that it is also a dongle mean that a driver is much less likely to work? Thanks
