Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization

What works

Everything so far:

• Menu
• Graphics
• Sound
• Saving and Loading

What does not

1. You need to patch the Game, so it starts without asking you to insert a DVD.
2. You need to install "Microsoft XML Core Services (MSXML) Version 3.0" (msxml3), otherwise the Game will crash.

Workarounds

1. You need to install Patch 1.01f.
2. You need to install "msxml3" (for example via winetricks).

What was not tested

• Multiplayer
• I have only played some time, no round finished yet.

Graphics:

• GPU: Nvidia
• Driver: open source

• Windows OS version: 7 (default)
• OS-arch: 64bit
• Prefix-/wine-arch: win64 (64bit)

• I use the virtual desktop-option
• CSMT is activated by default (though it states "deprecated")
