What works
Starting the game, including addons British Armed Forces and Private Military Company. Menus, as long as you have the raw3 input patch. Playing single player missions and driving vehicles. Sound works if you install dsound and xact as mentioned by someone else already. PlyOnLinux's 1.5.9-raw3 wine version works ok, if you do not want to actually patch raw input yourself.
The game seems to be very dark under Wine as well, but the brightness and gamma settings can fix this just fine.
This is a 'high' bronze. The game is very much playable and is just a bit touchy with the raw3 patch and shadows disabled in game.
What does not
Map screens flicker a lot, but are usable. Lots of odd graphics behavior if shadows are enabled in game - recommend disabling them, but other settings can be set as your preference and system specs dictate.
