What works

Menu, gameplay, loading/saving, mission briefings. Everything works perfectly!

What does not

  • I needed to select "emulate a virtual desktop" to have the menu screen displayed. Otherwise I just get music but no game.
  • On one occasion the sound stopped after about 30 minutes of gameplay. Saving, returning to the menu and reloading got it working again.

reproduced sound-off bug

I've had the same problem again: the game slows down after about half an hour, I can hear my laptop's fan going berserk and then the sound stops working. Quitting and reloading seems to fix this immediately. Anybody else getting this problem?

I shall get the game going tonight for some recon, I only played it for about 10mins the other night. So is it always around 30mins? I'll keep an eye on cpu/gpu usage and what not.

Just letting you know I'll look into it.
