What works
After installation, everything seems to work fine. However, installing and running the BrainExplorer is not straightforward, 1) The installer need to be run through wine msiexec /i 2) Running the BrainExplorer2 without crash requires the prefix WINEDEBUG=warn+heap, that’s a trick that I learned only after reading the test report of a “Roger Koot†in the Wine App database [1]. Thanks, Roger.

In order to ease installing and running the BrainExplorer, I recommend using the following script wget http://pub.ist.ac.at/~schloegl/src/brainexplorer2.sh chmod +x brainexplorer2.sh ./brainexplorer2.sh
