What works
It seems like almost everything is working when using dotnet20 instead of Mono (read more in comments):
Prior test data stated that FOMM had had to be reconfigured, but in this case it works fine - it remembers the folders of games correctly.

One very important thing: to make the FOMM work as intended, you have to cancel Mono installation when an initial prefix configuration is done. After that you need to install dotnet20 using winetricks.
