What works

No lag, the different search options work, magnifying glass button (search) works, save button works, exit button works, icon properties works, different views work, help about works, clicking hyperlink in help about works, select all works.

And yes, of course, it can extract icons and save them as *.ico files.

It even succeeds in saving and loading a config file on exit and load, respectively.

The new -scanpath feature works. This is done through the WINE cmd.exe.

What does not

file properties

The icon that looks like two pieces of paper between the floppy diskette and the finger pointing at the properties - that button doesn't do anything. It also didn't do anything in 1.46. Sorry, I missed it.

Workarounds

What was not tested

Did not rigorously test every search option.
Did not extract a CUR file.

Additional Comments

Works super-well! No lag. A fun thing to have in Wine in Linux on a thumb drive, or on your main computer.

HowTo / Notes

From Process

I uploaded a screenshot of IconsExtract getting icons from a selected process.

Just recently (close to June 30th 2011), I noticed the "Scan icons in the selected process:" option. I saw it before, but glazed over it. So I tested it out, and it works.
