What works

Extraction works - default install routine is primitive - be sure to extract to the final target location for the program. Once extraction is complete, run by changing to install directory and running wine PCW.exe

File loading and viewing appears to work. Window resizing had a couple minor redraw issues, not clear yet if they can be reproduced. For the most part, no problems observed.

Comment - pcw23.exe file from http://www.ccp14.ac.uk/ccp/web-mirrors/powdcell/a_v/v_1/powder/e_cell.html seems to contain a file that reports its version as 2.4.

What does not

Starting the program from a directory other than the same directory as the PCW.exe file does not seem to work. I seem to recall this happening on Windows too, but not sure.
