What works
*Login does work, but you still have to work around the password field cursor crash bug (bug 27468)
**QQ Today window does work, but the links inside the various sub windows do not work, and some of the sub windows do not load correctly
***App Box does work, but QQ will "crash" several times and bring up the bug report screen. ignore this and close the bug report windows and eventually the App Box will load.
****Groups will load, but not completely and you cannot click any of the links inside the loaded window. It is effectively useless.
*****The game center will load, and you can click on links inside of the window to check out game and app descriptions. However, not all of the HTML is loading so pictures and the links to play the games are not loading.
******Translate does work, but without adding in the correct fonts, the chinese characters look like an explosion of the ASCII table.
*******The microphone built into my webcam works, though the video did not. Also curious was that the microphone in my USB headset did not work. I'm guessing this is a wine issue.
What does not
*Screen capture does successfully capture an image, and then it does paste the captured screen image into the chat window. However, it crashes within seconds of doing that.

Additional Comments
**Install Instructions** 1. You will need to install a few packages from winetricks to get maximum functionality from the installation. 2. Before do that, I recommend that you create your own wine bottle for QQ so that you don't clutter up your main .wine directory. 3. To do that, open up a terminal window (ctrl+alt+t) and then type in the following: export WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.nameofyourbottlehere After you enter the above command, type in 'winecfg' or 'winetricks' (no quotes) so that wine will create the new bottle. You can exit out of the wine prompts but don't exit out of your terminal window. 4. Next, we need to get the qq installer. Go the the link mentioned on the AppDB page and grab a copy of qq international 1.1. If you can't find a link for it there, you can do a Google search and download from another software site. 5. Make sure that when you download the installer that you save it to your Downloads folder. 6. Type the following into terminal, making sure that you are in your home directory: wine Downloads/QQInt1.1.exe Once this is done you get a prompt from the QQ installer. Follow the prompts until the successful installation of QQ. When QQ asks to run, tell it no and close out QQ for now. Make sure that you place an icon for QQ on your desktop. 7. Once you've done that, type in the terminal window that you kept open type 'winetricks' (no quotes) to bring up winetricks so that you can start installing the needed packages. 8. You will need to install the following packages to get QQ to login without crashing: gdiplus riched20 vcrun6 ie6 9. As of this writing (1/18/2012) the package ie6 for winetricks has a broken link and will not successfully download. There is a workaround, but it's a bit of a pain. 10. To work around the winetricks ie6 issue, do the following: A) Do a Google search for the file ie60.exe. Once you find it, download it. B) Use terminal (ctrl+alt+t) and load your appropiate wine bottle. Load up winetricks and try running the ie6 package. It should spit out an error and close. Once this is done, exit out of winetricks. C) Take your downloaded ie60.exe file and copy/cut it D) Navigate your way to home directory E) You need to deposit that file inside of the winetricks cache, so press ctrl+h to reveal you hidden files/folders. F) Once you've revealed the hidden files, look for a folder called .cache. Once you find it, open it. G) Now that you are in the folder .cache, look for a folder called winetricks. Open it. H) Now that you are in the folder winetricks, look for a folder called ie6. Open it. I) Now you can finally paste ie60.exe to this location. J) Once you've done that, you can close all of that out and re hide your hidden folders/files (ctrl+h) 11. Install all the packages mentioned previously via winetricks. Once it's successfully completed exit out of winetricks. 12. Run the QQ installer file and follow the prompts until you complete installation. QQ should install fine and it should be able to load the client. **Login Instructions** 1. Once at the client screen you need to be careful because of the cursor crash bug. Type in your QQ number as normal, but DO NOT click your cursor inside of the password field. Doing so will result in a crash of the QQ client. 2. Instead, click on the keyboard icon next to the password field. That will pop up into a keyboard window, where you can use the mouse to type your password. Once you've done that, exit out of the pop-up keyboard and click the login button. I would also recommend that you select auto-login and remember password options so you don't have to worry about this bug in the future. 3. QQ should login.

In fact, you needn't so hurry like that. You also needn't to tick 'auto login'.You can sign-in more than an account at a time.
What you only to do is press "TAB" as quickly as you can when the main window is appearing.:-)
I think is easy than move my mouse. When the focus doesn't on the blank for entering password, you can choose which account you want to sign-in or status.
But you have to tick "Remember my password" unless you are very boring.:-)
PS:My English is very bad.If you want to laugh……you can laugh as loudly as you can.:-)
