What works

Everything (bar saves - this requires a workaround...) once the game is patched to 1.02B. You cannot run the game without installing the patch to remove the "Run in 256 colors" mode. Download the patch from

What does not

Savegames: To get the save games working, or to load a car setup that you have downloaded you need to do the following:

1- Open the loading dialouge whether it is for a game file (*.gps) or a car setup file (*.csu)

2- In the spot where it says Filename: *.gps or *.csu highlight the entire box as there seems to be many blank characters after the file type. Clear these characters so you are left with an empty input box.

3- Find the folder where you have saved the file to be opened within the dialouge box, then type in the filename (haven't tested case sensitivity but this shouldn't make a difference), for example Montreal.csu, hit open and voila the saving/loading parts works just fine.

The same steps have to be taken for saving games, however once you have created the file it is sufficient just to hit save from the menu.
