1. Installing and opening application
2. Starting and playing single player
3. Changing graphics options including resolution
What does not
While actual game play works at very high FPS with everything bumped up to max settings I get flashing and flickering with certain game elements such as save way-points and spell effects. I've tried with and without Compiz *unity3d as apposed to gnome classic with no effects* to no avail. All AS/AA and quality settings are set to application controlled in the settings for my graphics driver. I've tried many different combonations of settings in game including different resolutions and with AS/AA on and off.
See registry settings tried below.
What was not tested
Registry settings I have. DirectDrawRenderer = opengl Multisampling = enabled *tried with and without this* OffscreenRenderingMode = fbo *tried pbuffer/backbuffer as well* PixelShaderMode = enabled RenderTargetLockMode = auto SoftwareEmulation = enabled UseGLSL = enable *Game will not start without this* VideoMemorySize = 3072 *your amount of mem on your videocard* If it wasn't for the flickering of certain elements in game this game would get a Gold status and be just as playable as if installed under windows. Framerate is VERY high. Here's my machine specs. Intel SandyBridge 3930k 16 gig RAM ATI 7950HD 3gig Catalyst 12.8 proprietary The flickering may be due to ATI driver issues and nVidia user's mileage may vary.
