The installation notifies you that the installation
was completed successfully, no error is displayed.
BUT THE INSTALLATION IS INCOMPLETE.
What does not
Comparing the installation of Corel 12 on
Windows XP to the incomplete installation on Wine:
On Windows the "C:\Program Files\Corel"
folder contains 300 MB of files.
On Wine the folder contains only 200MB.
Starting an incompletely installed Corel app
triggers the error message:
"Registry Corrupt" "The UI Language registration list is invalid."
After copying the 300MB "Corel" folder of Windows
to the Wine "Program Files" folder, you get a bit
further in running Corel, but it is still unusable.
There seem to be some Registry entries missing
and some Wine programming required...
What was not tested
Copying all the Corel registry-parts manually
from Windows to Wine could be tried.
The Corel 12 programs are not usable on Wine...
