Game runs if you copy it from a Windows installation.
You can see video from the game, but it's unplayable and it looks pretty messed up.
What does not
Video looks bright and blurred.
I have to edit "~/CAPCOM/SUPERSTREETFIGHTERIV/config.ini" and set "RenderingThread=OFF", otherwise I will have a blinking screen and terrible performance. This is no problem, since I have the same behaviour in Windows XP.
Can't play the game if it's not properly installed, as it will be forever trapped in autoplay mode. I can reproduce this behaviour in windows if I try to run it without installing, so I think it's some kind of copy protection mecanism.
What was not tested
If we can get it to install, or figure out exactly what the installer does, it will be much closer. Still I feel this is much closer to working than the original SFIV which doesn't even start.

To get sound working, copy file XAudio2_7.dll to $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/windows/system/
and then do:
If that does not work, try this:
copy XAudio2_7.dll from Windows/SysWOW64 to .wine directory of the same name and run
