Installs without problems. Only tested the stand-alone version with JACK, which worked very well.
What does not
Sysex import via File->Import crashes applicaction. Also Loading a sound bank in .fxb-Format via File->Load can crash the application when a file is selected in the main list in the file selector dialog. Typing (or copy-and-pasting) the filename directly in the file name entry in the file selector dialog loads the file without error.
What was not tested
Plugin versions were not tested, neither the VST nor the RTAS version.
At first start license manager comes up. I used the option to retrieve the license code with another computer, which worked without problems. For audio output I used JACK and wineasio. I compiled & installed the latter myself following the instructions in the README file in its distribution. Strat winecfg to configure the audio output and enable ALSA and JACK support. Start JACK via qjackctl and in its configuration dialog make sure to set the MIDI driver to "seq" not to "raw". Start the application in stand-alone mode (WAVESTATION.exe) and configure audio output to use the ASIO method with Winasio output and your MIDI interface on the MIDI tab. On my Asus Eee PC 901 with 2GB RAM and a M-Audio Fast Track Pro I could get a clear output with no clicks, drop-outs or xruns at 23 ms latency, which isn't optimal but very good considering the slow CPU. I had to make sure that the CPU runs at full 1.6 Ghz speed and no energy saving mode.
