Additional Comments

You need to use openglide http://sourceforge.net/projects/openglide (see readme). In winecfg emulate a virtual desktop (preferably 1024x768) and run the .exe through terminal (exiting doesn't terminate completely). During start-up configure 3DFX and set resulotion to 1024x768 - there you go. Joining mutiplayer also works (try a few times if it crashes - it'll finally work). Editing user.ini in game-dir will let you use every key on an xbox360-gamepad, a ps2-gamepad w/ usb-adapter here only works via 'joy2key'. MAKE BACKUPS OF '/GAME-DIR/User' AND '/GAME-DIR/user.ini'! Port 19400 needs to be forwarded for game-server. Works on two machines: nvidia(â„¢) 7900GS proprietary-driver and also AMD(â„¢)/ATI x1650 FOSS-driver
