Starting the game displays "Game Initialize Failed", it is either a network issue or Gameguard's fault, this prevents the game from starting, otherwise it would most likely work.

If the launcher crashes attempt to reopen it, this may occur multiple times once first started, you may have to install msxml3 and .net 3.5 framework. (Taiwanese DBO is currently in beta)

DBO Taiwan now works!

DBO are being shutdown globally (Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong servers all closing). It's extremely sad news.

The only good news now DBO Taiwan seems to have removed the use of GameGuard, so the game seems to run under WINE now.

No extensive testing has been done yet. But now I can run DBO.exe and can login into the game without any problems.

It seems to be doing weird things with the screen/window/resolution though, so it is suggested to set your wine to use the virtual desktop mode.

Also, set your locale to zh_TW.UTF-8 to get chinese texts shown properly.

So, I run like:
LANG=zh_TW.UTf-8 wine explorer.exe /desktop=dbo,1560x860 DBO.exe

Just wondering if anyone is trying to get this working?
As we all know the main hurdle is gameguard.
Also the executable DBO.exe is one of those compressed one.
I've been looking around it under a debugger while it's running and it's using something called GZLibFile.
