Adobe Photoshop Elements

What works

• Got the installation ISO from archive.org (for sha256sum see extra comments) but have my own serial number
• Installer is in French but changing the language for the program works fine
• Entering personal data (user name, company name, serial number)
• Standard installation (Typical)
• Program icon created on the desktop without running into bug 3548
• Welcome screen
• Help windows
• Launching from Command Line
• Opening a sample JPG-file
• Zooming using the keyboard and mouse
• Selecting a crop-field, turning it and cropping images
• "Select All" using menu and Keyboard (Ctrl+A)
• Rotating using 90/180 degree steps
• Text tool and writing, changing font colours
• Saving a JPEG-file

What does not

• Program icon doesn't launch the application itself
• Startup screen with sunflower is not transparent
• Even though I opted for German during installation the application shows up in French language
• Some flickering issues - Photoshop window keeps refreshing and pushing itself in the foreground making it impossible to Alt+Tab to another window
• Calling online help function (System message window from Slackware comes up)

Workarounds

• Called a "winetricks corefonts" after installation and before first run.

What was not tested

• Things like importing RAW-photographs
