Additional Comments

Textures do not load up properly for certain costumes and NPCs. Framereate is lower than experienced under Windows. Also, the cursor sometimes does not show unless you click inside the window. Now that Nexon no longer uses Hackshield for Dragon Nest, the game is able to run for more than 10 minutes without crashing. GPU: Radeon HD 4670 (OSS drivers)

HOWTO

Getting it launched

  • You must install Firefox 3.6 or older (currently doesn't work with newer versions or ie) in order to start the launcher from the website which updates and launches the game.

Using a Shortcut

  • You can get the shortcut from here (please email me if the link is dead).

Although you must make sure Wine uses its Firefox as the default browser by doing: 
wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Mozilla\ Firefox/firefox.exe -silent -setDefaultBrowser
