X-Lite

Tested successfully with the following components: * Wine 20040813 (wine-20040813-mdk.i586.rpm) * Mandrake 10.0 -> Kernel 2.6.3 and KDE 3.2 (20040204) * Windows XP Partition I installed X-Lite under Windows and started it afterwards from the Windows partition /mnt/windows - it worked at once. One small thing that isn\'t working is the upper middle button [_]. If you press it the phone disappears. However if you click on the icon in the taskbar \"Show the phone\" it appears again (sometimes). So that\'s just a tiny issue. Use the [x] button instead to hide the phone. Every other function of X-Lite seems to work. :)

What works

Tested version X-Lite 3.0 for windows. Installs with no problem under ies4linux setup. Need hid.dll which I copied from my Win98 installation. Appears to be stable under Win98. Due to my slow CPU (650Mhz), sound is bad. Managed to call echo service of my VOIP provider and tested echo. Managed to check voice mail. Did not try to call real people! Someone else may decide it should get a higher rating.

What does not

Crashes frequently under Win2K. Crashed on startup under WinXP.
