Workarounds

What was not tested

EXTRACT: Process all cabinets chain (/A), copy source to destination (/C).
CABARC: Reserve space for signing (-s), Set cabinet ID (-i).
MAKECAB: Setting makecab directives (/F), Defining makecab variables (/D).

Other combination of options.
Using the library (both static .lib and dynamic .dll) supplied in the SDK.

Additional Comments

Extracted files with an executable extension (*.exe, *.com, ...) will automatically get executable permission. Files with attributes, when extracted, only read-only attribute are preserved, as a disabled read permission. Tested with Wine's Windows version XP Tested non-english filenames were using TIS-620 encoding (with runtime locale th_TH). Wine compiled without GStreamer, OpenCL, XInput2 and OSS support.
