Installation in a clean wine prefix works.
Patching with Manu's patch found at https://github.com/Manu311/BlackProphecy-Patcher/raw/master/patch.sh
Logging in, character creation.
What does not
The Gamigo downloader doesn't work, but the installation files can be downloaded manually from the BP website.
After installing the game files, the game client automatically installs directx9, microsoft visual c++ 2005, 2008 and 2010 whether or not they previously existed. Installing any vcrun with
winetricks prior to installing BP results in the visual c++ install crashing halfway through.
The launcher and the patcher do not work.
What was not tested
I haven't gotten beyond character creation and on to playing the game.
The game is very demanding. Using my builtin intel card, the black prophecy splash screen appears for a couple of seconds, then the game crashes. Wine logs show the following error: Closing client because 'GameClientRenderModule' couldn't be initialized. Once I switched to the hybrid nvidia card, the game loaded. All the previously mentioned patches are still required.

I just wrote a little Patcher since the official doesn't run in wine:
Just download the file and place it into your Black Prophecy Root Directory
It downloads and looks for your patch files in the (not existing) directory: Patches which will be generated at first use. If you've already downloaded some patches, I recommend you put those there.
If you have any advice for my script, just inform me, I'm not used to shell-scripts very much.
