What works
Game plays great for the most part. Runs fullscreen 1024 x 768 (4:3) stretched by default. Add line "DirectDraw=0" to the Alpha Centauri.Ini file if you prefer to run at a more modern 1920x1080. The interface won't scale, however.
What does not
Crashes every once in a while, sometimes taking opengl and the window manager with it.
Workarounds
Ran winecfg, changed emulated windows version to Windows XP and haven't experienced a crash so far.
