What works

Installation, printing, entity creation, scaling, placing symbols from library, adding layers, editing object properties, DXF export/import (verified with ARES Commander).

What does not

Will not execute without path fix.

Unusually slow to load.

Wine write will not load readme.wri from Help menu (hangs).  Can be opened with native apps.

Attempting to open help file from the Help menu results in winhlp32.exe crashing with an unhandled exception: page fault.

Library content explorer can't locate the current symbol library:

fixme:ole:snapshot_QueryGetData (0x1631150, 0x33f968 {cf 0003 ptd (nil) aspect 1 lindex -1 tymed ffffffff})

HowTo / Notes

Installation note

AutoSketch 7 will not execute after installation because it is not able to find the directory containing some of its dependencies.  To manually fix it, run regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment

Look for the PATH value.  Edit it and add a semicolon (;) at the end followed by:

c:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared

Close regedit.  AutoSketch should now start normally.
