What works
Max Runtime 5.1.9 install and runs correctly through wine-rt ( http://kxstudio.linuxaudio.org/ ), opens patches and displays MIDI ins/outs inside MIDI Setup, and can also pass audio to Linux through WineASIO and JACK2. No audio glitches were heard, good and clean sound.
You have to manually register wineasio.dll inside wine-rt (not related to the program - MAX Runtine - but needed for WineASIO to stream audio to JACK2).Â
