Additional Comments

Its a bit tricky to get the 1.0 version to install and run correctly. This is what i had to do:

***System Information***
CPU: AMD Phenom x4 3,4Ghz
RAM: 16G
GPU: ATI 6990
VGA Driver: Latest Catalyst 12.3

***Game Settings***
Resolution: 1280x1024 - Fullscreen (1920x1080) crashed the game for me.

1. operating on a clean 32bit WINEPRFIX (dont know if thats nec. but im using a new PREFIX for every game/program i install... for me a 64bit PREFIX dont work.

2. env WINEPREFIX=~/yourfoolwinepath/ winetricks winetricks d3dx10 d3dx9 vcrun2005 vcrun2008 vcrun2010

3. env WINEPREFIX=~/yourfoolwinepath/ wine Setup.exe

The installer works with some problems.
First of all i had the Problem that after the gamebinaries installed the installation of the UBIsoft Gamelauncher (UbisoftGameLauncher.exe) failed with a connection error.

I had to kill the stubed installaionprogress via terminal.

After that i deleted (to be sure nothing else goes wrong) the complete PREFIX with all additional files and settings and reproduced the Steps 1. and 2.

Then i first installed the UBIsoft Gamelauncher with env WINEPREFIX=~/yourfoolwinepath/ wine UbisoftGameLauncher.exe before i proceeded with step 3.

After that the installer goes through the progress and ends finally without any errors.

I started the game with env WINEPREFIX="~/yourfoolwinepath/ wine explorer /desktop=imafoo,1280x1024 ~/yourfoolwinepath/drive_c/Program\ Files/Ubisoft/Might\ \&\ Magic\ Heroes\ VI/Might\ \&\ Magic\ Heroes\ VI.exe /offline

Be sure to start the game with the /offline option

Changing resolution dont work even if i try to change it with the ProfilData.xml in your /home/USER/Might\ \&\ Magic\ Heroes\ VI/USER with Kate or equal editors.

I dont tested the Multiplayer or a crack to get through the /offline option.

I would give it a Gold ranking but the Rating definitions dont allow it :-)
