The "Battlefield 3: Special Edition".
What does not
What was not tested
Installed the same as my previous test but using the latest wine. When I tried to run I got the following error "Invalid license. Reason code = Missing DLL DXGI.dll Error. Missing function CreateDXGIFactory1" After looking through the wine bug list I found I could just create the new function and get it to return the result of CreateDXGIFactory(). I got the source code made the changes and compiled wine. Now when I try run BF3 I get this error "Invalid license. Reason code = Missing DLL 藻轢樓漿 Error. 0x0000007e" Having no knowledge of asian languages I had to rely on google translate which told me it was japanese and meant "Plasma Algae". This did not help :( I cant confirm if this is a genuine bug or caused by something I did.

Keep in mind that before you can install Origin you have accept an EULA that entitles the software to crawl through your wineprefix logging everything. I highly recommend both removing the "Z" link to your / in winecfg and installing BF3 in it's own prefix.
