Starting the demo without any tricks fails on "Could not initialize DirectX". I used the tricks from the full version: winetricks d3dx9 d3dx9_43 d3dx9_42 d3dx11_43 d3dx11_42 vcrun2008 vcrun2010 winhttp corefonts winecfg: change msvcrt100 to "Buildin, Native" Virtual desktop 1024x768 Disabled GLSL /Related Designs/ANNO 2070 DEMO/" Downloaded d3dx11_42.dll and placed it in "Program Files/Ubisoftrun with WINEDEBUG=-msvcrt
