Retail version of Football Manager 2012 - Includes all patches since launch.
Most bugs in a Football Manager game are game engine tweaks, rule fixes. Consolidating all versions into one. Please post version number of game (otherwise assume latest due to steam patching).
Well the game does apparently. It inherited fm2011's not starting instantly. The program "stress" helped that, so should work for this as well.
Otherwise, just wait!
Once in the game, the game runs as you'd expect.
What does not
Starting the game quickly on its own. Generally speaking the game always loads, anecdotally I think it has something to do with the power of the computer, it starts quickest on my laptop (low power core 2 duo), then my work pc and then the most powerful machine I have (my desktop at home - phenom 2 x6).
Stress helps which seems to reinforce my belief.
What was not tested
Multiplayer, wanted to get it going single player first.
Works perfectly with overrides. What they are? I'm not sure. I'll test more and add them here. Berkelium doesn't seem to be a problem with either fm2012 patch or later wine version but before it would always crash on that. Note, this is the NON-cracked version. You don't need a crack to play this game. So please no mentioning of "cracked" version to play.
