Test results and comments on versions of Tribes: Ascend that are no longer available but are kept here as a resource.
Installing the base installer, and loading it.
What does not
Doesn't connect to its own update service, which appears to be a .NET 2.0 service. So no further files are downloaded or updated. Attempted to copy install dir from real Windows system, but this didn't get any further. Also tested manually starting the update service, but just received "Service already running."
What was not tested
No gameplay able to be tested.
This is a DX9 title, so chances are it will work if bugs with the update service can be fixed.
