The game does not launch if you use normal mode, but instead of choosing "play" you can choose from the drop down menu: secured mode - and the game will run. I don't know where the difference is, but it's online, I can play. Here's the Howto: clean wineprefix: winetricks d3dx9 d3dx9_43 d3dx9_42 d3dx11_43 d3dx11_42 vcrun2008 vcrun2010 winhttp corefonts winecfg: change msvcrt100 to "Buildin, Native" Maybe desktop mode is also required (if directx is not able to initialize) - it works on some setups with fullscreen. WINEDEBUG=-msvcrt must be set to remove a huge debug-output which causes the launcher to not load otherways Choose secured mode instead of play to start the game.
