What does not
Social Club, but I've managed to bypass it. Details on the blog provided below in Extra comments, along with step by step instructions. Enjoy.
What was not tested
Okay, the rundown on how I got this to work properly on mac under Wineskin can be found here: http://www.futuresouth.us/wordpress/?p=97 I put it on the blog but don't feel like re-typing it. There is a link to download the SocialClubTweak.zip which comes with the profile setup for RGSC to sign in to a local profile named [Default] and allow you to play - but you need to make sure social club can't reach out to the internet, or it will prompt you to either login or choose default profile, and you won't be able to click anything. The issue appears to be that Social Club is not getting the focus in Wine when it comes up, so there's no keyboard or mouse functionality to it. The patch for SC linked in the above blog will resolve that problem by bypassing it. No executables, no binaries and nothing to run - so it's safe. Enjoy.
