What works

Whole gameplay without any problems, music, graphics, mouse interaction, however workaround is needed.

What does not

Videos if there were any (I guess not, 'video' folder was empty), the demo doesn't run out-of-the-box.

Additional Comments

Works very good, but workaround required. It is the same as for Cossacks, posted here by Alen: I think that the same workaround would definitely work for full version. So: First, remove the 'video' directory from the game directory. Second, download this patch ( and install it into the game directory. Third, go to 'configure wine', or 'winecfg' (they are the same thing). Go to 'applications' tab, and add the executable game file (for me, this was dmcr.exe). Where it says 'windows version', select 'windows xp'. Fourth, go to the 'library' tab. Under 'new override for library' type in 'ddraw' and click 'add'. Under 'existing overrides', click on 'ddraw', and click 'edit'. Select the option for 'native then builtin'. Save changes and exit winecfg.
