Alternate offline installer. Uninstallation.
What does not
Default Leapfrog Connect installer: Would quit on me during the second step (downloading) saying that there was an interruption in my network connection. Site documentation said tethered phones were not supported due to inherent network latency issues. My cable internet has latency issues of its own which may have contributed to installation failure. Downloaded an alternate installer, whose file name contained "LeapFrogConnectOfflineSetup" given as the Download URL, here. This was in the support section for Leapster Explorer, though my daughter has LeapFrog MyPals, site says all LeapFrog Connect are the same, but some products need additional software. This was, indeed, an offline installer for LeapFrog Connect, and worked. Leapfrog Connect: After installation, tries to open program. Requests that you install Adobe Flash. Error appears before you click the prompt about Flash ... "The procedure GetListBoxInfo could not be located in the DLL USER32.dll." This might be fixed by a patch (attachment here http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27385) but I don't know how to apply it.
