What works

the application starts up, and shows its config-window. pressing 'Enter' takes you to the main window. from what i can tell so far, everything works properly from there on. tested transitions, animations, drawing, undo, effects, brushes.

What does not

the startup config-window does not accept mouse-clicks on the buttons and settings. a press on 'Enter' will get you past it (you can adjust the settings through the main menu later). the main window opens, and the 'Main Panel' (tools panel) titlebar flashes for about 20 seconds, while the application shows an hourglass to indicate it is loading.

menu-text is a bit ugly, seems aliased.
