The only description that is version-specifc given by Magical Jelly Bean: "Improved Save & Print! - save & print options will now include all keys. Save is also available in text or CSV."
Most descriptions are about the program, regardless to version.
All of the GUI loads properly, and there is no slowness.
Surprisingly, under Tools, is an "Always On Top" option - yeah - a complete copycat of a Gnome feature in a Windows program! Even more surprising is that it half-way works! Let's say you are using Gnome. If the window is not in "Always On Top" mode, and you click the "Always On Top" under "Tools", and then you right-click on the window bar, you will see that, according to Gnome, the window is now in "Always On Top" mode. So it is communicating to Gnome, which is interesting. However, if you do the opposite, that is, if you right-click on the bar and uncheck "Always On Top" via Gnome, there will still be a checkmark by "Always On Top" under Tools. Or if you check off "Always On Top" via Gnome, "Always On Top" under tools doesn't get the memo; so it's a one-way communication.
All options under Help work, though the FAQ and Help links go to the same website. Opens websites in native web browser without a hitch. Opens the browser if it isn't open already. If it's already open, it just makes a new tab for itself.
Under Tools, "Modify Config" opens the config file in Wine's notepad.
Options dialogue and "Change Windows Reg Info..." dialogue under tools successfully load.
Save As, Print, and Exit all work.
What does not
Did not find MS Office key. I installed MS Office into its prefix to see if it would find the key, and it didn't. Note that this isn't operating via loading a hive. This is trying to get it to acquire registry values via registry APIs, rather than by binary-file-reading APIs.
Loading a hive failed. Said "Can't load registry hive from..." "Path not found". Even copied the config folder to my Linux desktop to see if it was an NTFS issue or something. It gave the path in all lowercase, so I renamed things accordingly with the folder I put on my desktop to make the path match what it was saying. Still said "Path not found".
Gnome communicating back to the program about "Always On Top" status as mentioned earlier does not work.
What was not tested
Options, "Change Windows Reg Info..., and modifying the config file.
I put "Magical Jelly Bean" as the developer because it seemed most applicable if I could choose only one developer. The original code is by Aleks Ozolins and it was updated by Swarren08, VersionBoy, and mmarx82. Can download installer or zip.
