Additional Comments

Since the installer doesn't work, you need to copy all files from cd to a folder in your hard disk, then replace the original executable file with a patched/nocd one and create a shortcut manually. A patched executable is available at: http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/doyoulikehornybunnies.shtml

HowTo / Notes

Installation

The installer and game fails to recognize the CD, so we need to "install" it manually and apply a NO-CD patch.

1. Create a folder for the game files:

mkdir ~/.wine/drive_c/games/bunny

2. Copy all files from the CD to the HD:

cp /cdrom-mount-point/* ~/.wine/drive_c/games/bunny

3. Change the permisions so we can replace the exe:

chmod +r ~/.wine/drive_c/games/bunny/*

4. Download the no-cd patch from here

5. Extract the patch and replace the game executable with it

After this you can launch the game with:

wine ~/.wine/drive_c/games/bunny/BUNNYUS.EXE

Or create your own launcher.

Background music

This game uses MIDI for it's background music, so you need to have a working MIDI synthesizer on you system.

Most modern cards don't include a MIDI synthesizer anymore, so you need to configure timidity to emulate it.

On older cards where there is a hardware synthesizer, like creative Sound Blaster 32/64/128/Audigy, you need to load a sound bank into the card using asfxload. You can find the banks in the drivers cd that comes with the card, as files with "sf2" extension.
