Additional Comments

I finally got it to work nicely with Wine > 1.5.7. You'll still need 2 DLL overrides: - riched20 (native) - Good explanation on "why" can be found here: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14980#c4 - winhttp (native, builtin) - Outlook crashes on send / receive otherwise (and this is probably the cause of issues with GMail accounts, reported in the AppDB). Furthermore, to get around the "Keyboard input" issues, after install, open the Outlook options dialog, go to "Add-Ins" -> Manage -> COM plugins -> Go and disable all Add-ins, except for the "Microsoft Exchange Add-in". This will make your Outlook run much smoother, and alleviate the input issues to a point, were the composer doesn't miss keystrokes. To get it to run even more smooth, you should also disable "Show prompt to enable instant-search" under "Search" in the options menu.

I have installed MS Office 2010 using wine on Ubuntu 14.04. When I open Outlook andclick on File, there is a message about "Upgrade in Progress" and a button where I can "Update Now" (screen shot here: www.imagebam.com/image/e0d8c2344431849) but waiting and clicking these does nothing.

I press "Add account" and "Account settings -> Account settings", but nothing happens. Could someone help me with this case?

Thanks!
