On a fresh installation of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32-bit and Wine 1.4, I performed the following steps to install Quicken 2012 Premier:
The installation of Quicken 2012 ran smoothly and downloaded updates as expected.
What does not
Everything. Upon initially running Quicken 2012 and seeing the dialog for me to either set up new Quicken data or open existing Quicken data, as soon as I get to the point there I should be allowed to choose a file, the program locks up my entire display (all four workspaces) and eventually crashes. I've tried changing the Windows version in Wine from XP, to Vista, to 7 and every time the same thing happens.
