Used Wine windows program loader to run "Autorun.exe" on CD. Installation proceeds normally. eLanguage Program files are created on the C: drive. Link icon is created on desktop. Pop Up menu lists "Open with Wine....". A Wine glass "Easy English" desktop icon is also created, but does not list "Open with Wine...", only "Open" on the pop up menu.
What does not
Clicking wine glass "Easy English" icon starts processes, but nothing happens and hard disk activity stops after about 5-10 seconds.
Clicking icon "Easy English.lnk" icon starts processes, but does not display the "Activate" dialog box as it does on first running this app in Windows 7. After about 30 seconds of hard disk activity, the app appears to die. Nothing is displayed.
I've browsed the Program Files >> eLanguage folders, but don't see how to run the activate process manually.
What was not tested
Don't know. I'm a newby with both Ubuntu LINUX and WINE. I know Windows pretty well.
