Installation mostly works, see "What does not work." Everything else tested
What does not
When installing through Origin, the installation of the game will finish, but Origin will not reflect this and not allow you to play the game. To work around this, wait until the installation stops doing actual work, then kill process named EAProxyInstall. After killing that, Origin should let you play the game.
What was not tested
Multiplayer: I did not have an opportunity to play a game with other players in it. All functionality seemed to work, but no other humans were present in these games. Voice chat was also not tested.
The game's installer will attempt to add Microsoft's VC++ to the winsxs directory in your wineprefix. Make sure you didn't set that directory or any sub-directories to read only, or else the VC++ installation will fail, which will cause the game's installation to fail. I don't remember why I removed write permissions from that directory, other than it might have been a proposed workaround for some problem with Mass Effect 2.
