runs quite well, appears to render correctly, decent frame rates. even steam over lay works.
What does not
sound crackles. loaded a game and all i could see was all black and 1 light source, not sure if that because i saved as right as i died last time or a glitch. still quite playable once a started a new game. also hangs and locks up when quitting.
What was not tested
any thing past very begging or more than 5-10 minutes of play.

For patching and installing wine on Ubuntu:
apt-get build-dep wine
(This wine version is given as an example)
tar xjpf wine-1.5.9.tar.bz2
patch -p1 < raw3.patch
For patching and installing wine on Gentoo:
mkdir -p /etc/portage/patches/app-emulation/wine-1.5.9
wget -O /etc/portage/patches/app-emulation/wine-1.5.9/raw_input.patch 'dl.dropbox.com/u/6901628/raw3.patch'
