Additional Comments
For the US region, change the following 2 lines in Manu's script to reflect the following (derived from Launcher.xml): Original < > Changed 5c5 < wget http://patcher.blackprophecy.com/PatchInfos2.xml -O $patchinfo > wget http://patch.cdn.gamigo.com/bp/eu/PatchInfos_Altair.xml -O $patchinfo 30c30 < wine ./BIN/WIN32/BlackProphecy.exe -config system_Shinava.xml > wine ./BIN/WIN32/BlackProphecy.exe -config system_Altair.xml ---------- The installer auto-installed .net 4.0. I tried running the launcher with mono installed, but it crashed and I didn't invest any time beyond that. The installer gives the option to install directx. In the first 2 installs, I canceled it, but the game would always crash on start with a unhandled c++ exception. On the 3rd try, I installed directx and then the game started without issue. The installer also installs vcrun2010, however, there are no overrides listed in winecfg for anything. I tried dinput8 to see if it helped with the mouse issue, it didn't, and just caused the game to crash when starting. When executing BlackProphecy.exe, you need the -config + option, otherwise you will stare at the screen wondering why its taking so long to connect...which it never does... Performance wasn't impressive. After a quick test for high and med graphical settings there was just to much stutter/slow down. I run most games on high or ultra settings. I didn't spend any time trying to narrow down what the performance hogs might be. Hardware: AMD X4 964/Nvidia GTX 480 overclocked.

I just wrote a little Patcher since the official doesn't run in wine:
https://github.com/Manu311/BlackProphecy-Patcher/raw/master/patch.sh
Just download the file and place it into your Black Prophecy Root Directory
It downloads and looks for your patch files in the (not existing) directory: Patches which will be generated at first use. If you've already downloaded some patches, I recommend you put those there.
If you have any advice for my script, just inform me, I'm not used to shell-scripts very much.
