Requires XQuartz (installed manually or via instructions below), and installing msxml3 and msxml6 via winetricks. Instruction to make it work. You can install XQuartz manually, or using brew cask. Instructions consider the latter. Prerequisites: brew (http://brew.sh), brew cask (http://caskroom.io) Instructions Fire up a terminal window. Run the following commands: brew cask install xquartz brew cask install wineskin-winery Fire up Wineskin Winery Create blank wrapper Open wrapper package's wineskin Install msxml3 and msxml6 via Advanced->tools->winetricks Configure library overrides: tools->winecfg->Libraries->new override->riched20->native, then builtin. Make sure to install in a 32-bit prefix, for instance
export WINEARCH=win32
export WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-32
You also need to have the ntlm_auth binary installed. Typically this is found in the winbind package. For certain functionality, like the Task Inspector, you should install IE 8 with
winetricks -q ie8

On host 64 bits, wine 1.5.3, 32 bits, project 2010 32 bits, Task notes may not work if you do not have gnome-keyring-3.2.1-3.fc16.i686.
Found this note crash issue on a my workstation (was working on another computer) by using:
yum install /usr/lib/pkcs11/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.so
