What works
Installation proceeded fine. I manually added MSVCP60.DLL to the SYSTEM and SYSTEM32 WINE folders.
On running Bryce the splash screen and menu is displayed, the titlebar disappears...
What does not
... then nothing. Hangs. Had to kill the WINE process to close it.

This was a fresh install of Wine 1.3.8. I will test other versions of Bryce (e.g. the free edition) in due course. I hope this can be fixed soon, I'd like to build a rendering box for Bryce but would prefer not to have to purchase another Win7 license. :(
