ArtRage

"ArtRage is a painting packageĀ designed to provide a realistic and fun simulation of using paint on a canvas, along with pens, pencils, crayons, and other tools." Simple paint program with very well done tools. Anyone who prefers to draw or paint freehand will love it. ArtRage does not have many of the common tools -- only drawing pens/paint, an eraser, and a water tool. No stencils or text widgets. What it does do it does very well, though.

Additional Comments

ArtRage uses msvcr80.dll that requires support for a "manifest" files to be produced (an XML file containing information about DLL dependencies for an executable). Till wine supports this it needs to be recompiled with the following lines commented out of ../wine/dlls/kernel/kernel32.spec for ArtRage to run... @ stdcall FindActCtxSectionStringA(long ptr long str ptr) @ stdcall FindActCtxSectionStringW(long ptr long wstr ptr)
