What does not
To fix most problems, you are going to want to change the video mode to windowed and as 800x600 to get past the hitch.
Another problem you might face is not being able to turn in a 360, just right click to fix this.
Some cutscenes delay in loading (this also sometimes, rarely, goes for triggers to continue in the story, like killing all the enemys, or reaching a certian location) sometimes its a matter of waiting, but I find that backtracking at least a short distance, looking around at all the nice artwork done in this game, is a better way to pass the time before it moves on, not sure why this happens, but don't let it cause anxiety, it will eventually continue.

What was not tested
Not every one of the side missions was completed, but most of them were.
app-emulation/wine-1.5.9 Using Binary Nvidia on Gentoo-3.6.11 Desktop, XFCE4 1440x900 Graphics set to max, but the game will not run for me with buffer effects on... What a fabulous game and conclusion to the series! Running in ME3 in wine is a great way to enjoy a great story without having to bow down to the windows corporation, and in fact, the game may very well run just as decent FPS/Quality wise on linux as it does on windows! However, there were a few hitches while playing that should be noted, along with their solutions for those who like to game on linux: To fix most problems, you are going to want to change the video mode to windowed and as 800x600 to get past the hitch. I am now going to try to explain where the hitches are without giving any spoilers... In Grissom Acadomy at the part when we enter cutscene, Shepard runs for cover behind a pillar, on my native resolution, when we regan control, shepard falls through the floor EVERY TIME, which which results in death, apply the windowed mode fix mentioned above to fix this. In the Assari Command Mission right at the beginning there is a ladder we have to slide down to enter the base, but for me, and even with the windowed mode fix, the sound plays of shepard sliding down the ladder but she gets caught on a texture and stays at the top of the ladder, there is no other way down, unlike some ladders you cannot just jump off the edge here. Apply the windowed mode fix, and then to get past it look down as low as you can and off to the right as quickly as you can both before clicking the ladder and as soon as she starts sliding, it may take a few tries, but I got past it after fooling with it for a few minutes. Also in assari command there is an elevator that you must take, when you step off the elevator there seems to be some kind of a texture glitch that you will see some unusual bendy colors but not the room beyond, saving the game here will reload the textures and you can move forward without falling off the map and dieing. The mission where you are going after the Cerberus Ex-employees (the scientists) has problem left and right, but luckily by this point in the game, cerberus troopers are a cake walk, so its more frustrating than impossible. All during this mission you may find that you cannot turn in a 360 making navigation a nightmare, luckily this has an easy fix, just right click, and it resets the problem. (when I played it before I realized the fix after the mission was over, I would find cover and then rotate the camera to point the direction I wanted to go! :P ) When you are taking care of the AA towers at the end of this level, make sure you make your own save on solid ground in case you have to reload, as the autosave for some reason starts you UNDER the infastructure making finishing the mission impossible. I experienced the delayed cutscene problem mentioned above at the end of this one, it will eventually load, I promise, just run from dock to dock until they come and pick you up. On the krogan home world I experienced a strange problem that only happened after I got killed by some Brutes because I ran from cover too soon after crossing the bridge. When I reloaded the most recent save the bridge was blocked... It shouldn't have been, I backtracked way back to the caves, and then made my way back, and the thresher maw broke the bridge where I needed to cross it, this is related to the delayed cutscene problem mentioned above. In the geth core server you will not be able to access any of the nodes at native resolution full screen, the "gun" will not destroy the virus on the node terminals, and so you will not be able to progress... It is frustrating, and I didn't realize it was even a problem until I watched a youtube video showing how I was "supposed" to progress. The fix for this is as mentioned before, put it into windowed mode at the lowest resolution to play though this level.

If you have experienced performance degradation please deactivate dynamic shadows and antialiasing from game graphic menu. Also set proprietary driver image settings to Maximum Performance. This helps for weak graphic cards like NVIDIA Geforce 120 GT.
Please note - If your mouse/keyboard isn't working then it's most likely a rawinput issue, please upgrade your wine to at least version 1.6 since wine has had rawinput built into it for about 12 minor releases now.
If you have mouse and in-game lags, set dinput to native in winecfg - Libraries tab
In some cases sound disappeared, it can be fixed by setting dsound to native as above.
If you have poor performance in multiplayer, set winhttp to native as above.
Do not start game directly from Origin Client! It crashed anytime if you do it.
1. Firstly run Origin, login into it
2. Then run Mass Effect 3 from shortcut on the desktop (or executable file)
3. Start Multiplayer and Enjoy!
