Runs fine from DVD (without installing).

What does not

Installation does not work. Possibly needs better Windows Installer support in Wine. When running from medium (no installation required), the Amiga Forever player also has some minor screen redraw issues.

Additional Comments

The appdb.winehq.org rejects submissions that have "Installs" set to "No" and "Runs" set to "Yes", so I had to set "Runs" to "Not installable" even if the answer should have been "Yes" (Amiga Forever also runs from portable environment).

These components were included to run Amiga Forever: IE 7, .NET Framework 2.0, DirectX Runtime, Microsoft HTML Rendering Engine 7, Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) 3.0, Microsoft XMLLite for Windows XP, msls31. Running Amiga Forever in a Wine virtual desktop helps minimize redraw issues and prevents the window from being moved off screen, but it also reduces performance. Fullscreen mode content is best run without Wine virtual desktop. Under Tools/Options in Amiga Forever be sure that "Use hardware fullscreen modes" is disabled in the emulation settings.
