What works

No installation needed as game is an EXE. Runs, plays, saves games, sound effects.

What does not

Music doesn't seem to work. Likes to complain once in a while about not finding a particular sound, though choosing to ignore (instead of abort) these errors seems to be OK.

Works on 1.7.30 32bit
by Elad Hen on Sunday August 21st 2016, 10:16
After many trials, including with the suggested above 1.5 and 1.5.22 I've found it working with 1.7.30 32bit. Perhaps it can work with others, but I've tried plenty.

Tested on Linux Mint 17.3, Linux Mint 18 and Debian Stretch.
Trying Iji in 1.5.22
by Toksyuryel on Thursday January 31st 2013, 2:10
The music actually works now! I don't know exactly which version it started working in, but it definitely plays now. However, it doesn't loop. While playing, my log is flooded with the following message:

fixme:quartz:Parser_OutputPin_QueryInterface No interface for {56a868a5-0ad4-11ce-b03a-0020af0ba770}!

As soon as the track reaches the end and tries to loop, the following message appears and the music stops completely:

fixme:quartz:DSoundRender_UpdatePositions Underrun of data occurred!

This does not prevent other audio from playing- it only affects the music track that was playing. When a new musical cue is reached, it begins playing as it should (until it tries to loop of course, when this happens again).

Another issue that's been happening is that if the game window is defocused for enough time, it grabs focus and the following message appears in the log:

fixme:event:wait_for_withdrawn_state window 0x20098/1a0000f wait timed out

Other than that the game seems to run flawlessly. I am only on level 2 so far, I will wait to post test results until after I actually beat the game.

Oh right I knew I forgot something. Whenever the game tries to save some data- unlocking a poster, changing the options, and saving the game at the end of a level are where I noticed it- the game seems to hang for a few seconds before resuming. (I have not yet tested whether I can successfully load data.)
